Universitas Negeri Jakarta is one of the institutions that will receive the WBK (Corruption Free Area) and WBBM (Clean Serving Bureaucratic Region) predictions. WBK and WBBM are predicates given by the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Ministry of PAN and RB) to work units in government agencies that carry out service functions.

To achieve the WBK and WBBM predicate, Universitas Negeri Jakarta must first build an Integrity Zone (ZI). ZI is a title given to government agencies whose leaders and staff are committed to realizing WBK/WBBM through bureaucratic reform, especially in terms of preventing corruption and improving the quality of public services.

The declaration of the Integrity Zone Towards a Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta is a follow-up to the declaration of an Integrity Zone that focuses on implementing Change Management programs, Management Arrangements, HR Management Arrangements, Strengthening Supervision, Strengthening Accountability Performance, and improving the quality of public services that are concrete and oriented to change.

The declaration and implementation of the bureaucracy must be managed based on good and professional principles. The bureaucracy must fully serve the interests of the community/public and work to provide excellent, transparent, accountable and free services from Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism (KKN) practices. This principle underlies the implementation of bureaucratic reform in the Faculty of Engineering UNJ.

The result of concrete corruption prevention efforts within the Integrity Zone is an increase in the number of work units with the predicate of Towards WBK/WBBM. The gradual development of WBK and WBBM is expected to contribute to increasing the value of the Corruption Prevention Index (GPA) in the Faculty of Engineering, UNJ in particular and the GPA of the general public.

The development of ZI within the Faculty of Engineering UNJ is an effort that requires commitment from all elements of leadership and employees to make the Faculty of Engineering free from corruption and clean in serving. The implementation of bureaucratic reform at the Faculty of Engineering must be able to encourage improvements and improve bureaucratic performance. Performance will increase if there is a strong overall motivation and commitment from all levels, starting from the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering and all employees. Motivation will arise if each program or activity carried out produces better output, value added, results and benefits from year to year, accompanied by a reward and punishment system that is implemented regularly. consistent and sustainable.
