For almost two years, the Covid-19 pandemic has attacked Indonesia, infiltrating all the gaps in the activities that people want to do. As we know that almost all fields of activity have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the fields of education and the economy. The process of teaching and learning activities (KBM) which was initially carried out offline in schools turned into online or online. Likewise all activities that are a result of the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In distance learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic, students can become less active in conveying their aspirations and thoughts, there are no friends to discuss learning materials, many homework assignments given by parents, lack of supervision from parents in participating in learning , as well as limited facilities and infrastructure that can result in boring learning and low interest in learning. As for the teachers, the problems they face include limited infrastructure, and the lack of teachers’ ability to use technology to create various learning media that can be used during the distance learning process.

In addition, the education of students is greatly affected. Families of students and teachers also have to struggle to survive financially.

With the implementation of the PPKM policy, activities outside the home are very limited, resulting in various business sectors reducing or even stopping their activities for an undetermined time. Although it can break the chain of virus spread, the implementation of the PPKM policy also has a social impact on the community. The income of the parents of students and the majority of them are in the middle to lower economic class has fallen sharply. So it is difficult to provide learning facilities that are used today. Therefore, the D3 Transportation Study Program and the Information Systems and Technology Undergraduate Study Program

The Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta collaborates and works closely with SMPN 1 Karang Bahagia to hold Community Service activities with a series of materials that are expected to solve problems that exist in the environment around SMKN 1 Karang Bahagia.
