Release and Welcoming of Internship Participants for PTB Study Program at the BIM WIKA & Research Division of PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk
Monday, August 9, 2021, an event for the Release and Welcoming of Internship Participants of PTB Study Programs will be held at the BIM WIKA & Research Division of PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. The event started at 12.30 WIB and was attended by 21 PTB study program students, with details of 10 PTB students from the 2018 batch who had completed the internship program and 11 PTB students from the 2019 batch who were about to start their internships this semester. The internship program which is the implementation of the Independent Learning-Independent Campus (MB-KM) policy is carried out for 6 months.
In his remarks, Deputy Dean I, Dr. Imam Basori, ST, MT stated that the PTB study program was the first study program in the FT UNJ to start implementing MB-KM programs so as to support faculty performance, in this case Main Performance Indicator (IKU) 2, i.e. students get off-campus experience . Through the MB-KM and IKU policies targeted by the Ministry of Education and Culture, students are indeed encouraged to gain off-campus experience and can be converted to courses of 20 credits.
Present to represent WIKA, namely Mr. Raju Firman Supriyadi S.T. as BIM coordinator. He motivates and gives direction to new interns to be brave to innovate and have an attitude of initiative in completing work. He also advised the apprentices who had finished to share their knowledge and experiences with new participants so that the knowledge gained could be useful.
There are many benefits that interns get. In addition to gaining knowledge and skills regarding Building Information Modeling (BIM), interns for 6 months gain real work experience in managing construction projects.
