Dr. Muhammad Yusro, M.Pd., MT., Ph.D. is a lecturer in electronic engineering education. He graduated from Universitas Negeri Jakarta
and continued his Master’s degree at Universitas Indonesia. He earned
his Doctoral Degree from Universitas Indonesia through a double-degree program with the University of Clermont Auvergne, France.
Dr. Yusro is an expert in Microcontroller Systems, Logic Circuits, and Sensor Transducers. His research interests focus on mobile learning development, including the development of mobile learning for Islamic
education, the development of a smart infusion control and monitoring system (SICoMS) based on Android and web applications, and
system-integrated software to improve health budget accountability.
In addition to his role as a lecturer, Dr. Yusro currently serves as the Secretary of the Badan Standar, Kurikulum, dan Asesmen Pendidikan
(BSKAP) at the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) since 2025. Before serving in this role, he was entrusted with the position of Director of Vocational High Schools
(SMK) at the Directorate General of Vocational Education, Ministry of
Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) in
2024. In this capacity, he played a key role in strengthening
vocational education policies, enhancing industry linkages, and
improving the quality of vocational graduates to meet the demands of
the job market.
Currently, in his role at BSKAP, he is actively involved in shaping
national education standards, curriculum development, and educational
assessment policies to enhance the quality and equity of education in
Indonesia.
