  • OVERVIEW

The Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Study Program (PTIK) is one of the study programs in the Faculty of Engineering which implements the tridharma of higher education in the fields of education, computers, and information technology.

 

  • VISION

To become an excellent education, research, and training center at the national level in the field of information technology and computer engineering education and vocational training, in order to develop both prospective professional educators in the field of information technology and computer engineering and professional IT personnel with entrepreneurial skills.

 

  • MISSION
    1. To provide education and training in order to develop excellent and highly competitive educators in the field of informatics and computer engineering through curriculum development that suits advances in science and technology.
    2. To conduct research activities as a form of active participation in the development of science and technology, especially in the field of information technology and computers.
    3. To research, develop, and create works in the field of informatics and computer engineering and to disseminate science and technology through scientific publications and community service as a form of sensitivity and concern of society.
    4. To equip graduates with pedagogical, professional, personal, and social competencies with environmental concern and entrepreneurial spirit.
    5. To build a healthy organization of study programs and departments based on the principles of autonomy, accountability, continual improvement, accreditation, and continuous self-evaluation.

 

  • OBJECTIVES
    1. To generate graduates of Bachelor of Informatics and Computer Engineering Education who are able to work as prospective professional educators in vocational education institutions and in training centers of information and computer industries.
    2. To generate graduates of Informatics and Computer Engineering Education who are qualified, have character, have faith, are devoted, and are able to develop an entrepreneurial spirit, and uphold rightness and honesty.
    3. To generate graduates who are competent and able to compete as workers in the world of information technology and computer engineering industries.
    4. To produce academic work through research and scientific development activities that are efficient and effective for education and society in general in the field of information technology and computer engineering education.

    1. Teachers of Information Technology and Computers: Educators in the field of computer network engineering, multimedia, and software engineering; as learning facilitators who are creative and innovative, have the spirit of Pancasila, are equipped with English language skills, and have leadership qualities.
    2. Professionals in the field of Information Technology and Computers: Professionals in the field of computer network engineering, multimedia, and RPL, or those in ICT implementation in education who are creative, innovative, and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
