Guest Lecture: Love, Career, and Family Preparation

On Friday, February 14, 2025, a guest lecture activity was held with the theme “Building your best life: love, career, and family preparation“. This activity was held in the lecture hall of the SFD Tower A Building, 9th floor—76 students attended and enjoyed this activity.

From UPM, Pn Anis Binti Zakaria delivered material related to Grooming. She explained how first impressions are crucial in the career world. Appearance and demeanour are crucial during the first meeting.

Meanwhile, Dr. Uswatun Hasanah, M.Si from UNJ, delivered material on family preparation. She compared the minimum age for men and women who will marry, both according to Indonesian and Malaysian law. She also conveyed the roles that individuals must play in a family.

The activity continued with the delivery of the curriculum. The curriculum is one of the primary keys to implementing cooperation in teaching. The curriculum is also one of the considerations for prospective students before determining their choice of place to study. In the series of implementation of collaboration between UNJ and UPM, Pn Anis Binti Zakaria, as Study Program Coordinator, delivered the curriculum used in the Bachelor of Home Science Education. After that, Elmanora, M.Si also delivered the Family Welfare Education Study Program curriculum. In this way, students from UNJ and UPM can compare the curricula of the two study programs.
