The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), collaborates with the Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). One form of collaboration is by conducting student exchanges. UPM has a Student Mobility Programme that allows students to be involved in exchanges to universities in other countries full-time (one semester with credit transfer) or short-term (non-credit transfer study visit).

The opening of the series of activities was held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. The activity was opened by the Deputy Dean 1 of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Muksin, M.Pd. UPM presented 15 students, two lecturers, and five school teachers who would see how theoretical and practical learning at the Faculty of Engineering works. They also explored TEFA at the Faculty of Engineering.

On Thursday, February 13, 2025, 15 UPM Home Science Education Bachelor students attended a lecture with 12 UNJ Family Welfare Education Study Program students in the Laboratory Room of the SFD Tower B Building, 8th floor.

They learned about child care, such as bathing children and providing appropriate stimulation for children according to their age, using educational play tools. In addition, they also learned about household matters such as making beds, folding napkins, towel art, and making coffee. Through this activity, it is hoped that the two study programs can continue collaborating to implement activities involving more students.
