The Developing Country Partnership Scholarship (KNB) is financial assistance offered by the Indonesian Government to prospective international students from developing countries to pursue a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral) at one of the universities in Indonesia. Hopefully, this scholarship can build people-to-people relations between Indonesia and the recipient country.
KNB offers the experience of studying at a well-known university in Indonesia and living life with the local community. By getting this scholarship, students will experience a quality degree program managed by 31 (thirty-one) partner universities. In 2024, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia together with 31 (thirty-one) KNB Scholarship host universities in Indonesia will accept 222 (two hundred and twenty-two) KNB Scholarship applicants, consisting of 30 undergraduate scholarship recipients, 162 Masters scholarship recipients, and 30 Doctoral scholarship recipients.
Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) is a partner university offering 55 Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral level study programs. Lectures in the KNB program include the Indonesian Language Training Program (BIPA), preparatory programs, and academic programs. Registration starts on January 22 2024 and lectures will start in mid-August 2024.

The Building Engineering Education Study Program is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University. This study program provides learning in the field of civil engineering and the field of education. The study program has received superior (unggul) accreditation from the National Accreditation Board – Higher Education and received international accreditation from ASIIN.
The vision of the BEE Study Program is to become an institution that produces graduates of BEE who are reputable, professional, superior, devoted, and nationalistic, with global insight and entrepreneurial spirit in synergy with non-BEE fields.
Based on that vision, the missions of the BEE Study Program are:
- Organizing Building Engineering Education to produce graduates who are professional, superior, devoted, have a national spirit, have a global perspective and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Conducting basic and applied research in the field of building engineering education to develop science and technology.
- Organizing community service activities in technology education to empower and increase the community’s active role.
- Fostering and developing mutually beneficial cooperation and collaboration between educational institutions and industry at the national level.

The Building Engineering Education Study Program collaborates with local, national and multinational construction industry companies and also educational institutions to provide internships and research, and channel graduates into the world of work. In the construction company industry, the study program has collaborated with PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. since 2019 in student internship activities, including international internships with students from France. The study program also collaborates with Vocational High Schools, in Jakarta and surrounding areas, in practical teaching activities in schools and also research related to teaching and learning. The study program also collaborates with the ministry in graduate certification activities so that it can provide more equipment to graduates who will work in the construction industry and educational institutions.
